File Foxhound is a great tool for monitoring what is going on with your computer when you aren't there to keep a watch.
It lets you know what folders have been created, renamed and deleted along with what files have been created, renamed and deleted. Keeps a log for each day that it's running, each item is color coded for easy reference.
Can be told to run at system start up and stays hidden until called by the shortcut key. Logs can also be searched.
